Accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov delegation from Saxony visits Alabuga Special Economic Zone

On November 30, during an official visit to Tatarstan, the delegation from Saxony (Germany) led by Prime Minister of the region Stanislaw Tillich visited the Alabuga Special Economic Zone. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov accompanied the guests.

Members of the delegation include CEOs of 30 German companies, who arrived in Tatarstan to see into its economic potential and hold target meetings with representatives of Tatarstan businesses.

At the Alabuga Special Economic Zone the guests were told about opportunities and preferences available for investors. Director General of the zone Timur Shagivaleev said at the moment four German companies are residing in the Alabuga.

In his turn Khalikov emphasized that today the Alabuga is one the Russia's leading industrial sites, a comfortable place for living and doing business.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “ Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
