Tatarstan enters into cooperation with «American Axle»

Tatarstan is interested in cooperation with on the largest American producers of auto components - company «American Axle». February, 22. RT Prime Minister met with USA business delegation in House of RT Government.

Director for developing business of company «American Axle» Steve Gregerson, President of «AZ Enterprise L.L.C.» (a consulting company for development of international business with emphasis on Russian and CIS markets) Alex Zaguskin took part in the meeting.

«American Axle» company is a world leader in the design, engineering, testing, validation and manufacturing of driveline, drivetrain and chassis systems, related components, and metal formed products for passenger vehicles, light trucks and off-road automobiles.

Except for plants in USA (Michigan, New York, Ohio) the company has offices and production objects in Brazil, China, England, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Scotland, South Korea and Thailand.
By words of Steve Gregerson the company intends to expand Russian market.

Ildar Khalikov in his turn presented industrial potential of Tatarstan. He stressed that the largest automobile enterprises “KAMAZ” and “Sollers” were able to overcome economic crisis properly.

Ildar Khalikov expressed interest towards development of industry of auto components.

RT Prime Minister offered guests to visit “KAMAZ”, “Sollers” and special economic zone “Alabuga”.
