Rustam Minnikhanov meets Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova

On November 30, at their meeting at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova discussed issues of further cooperation in a number of areas.

Minnikhanov thanked Borova for the opportunity to meet and noted that Tatarstan and UNESCO continue their cooperation in a number of issues.

In particular, Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan will meet their expectations to hold the 6th International Conference of Ministers and Senior Officials Responsible for Physical Education and Sport (MINEPS VI) to take place in June next year at a high level.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to France Aleksandr Orlov, Authorized representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in France Iskander Yusupov and other officials took part in the meeting.
