Rustam Minnikhanov meets Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad Matthias Fekl

On November 30, at his meeting with Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad Matthias Fekl, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked him for the opportunity to meet and assistance in organization of the visit.

Minnikhanov noted that it is important that leaders of Russia and France pay attention to development of relations on the interregional level and cooperation of business circles.  He also reminded that the business forum “France-Tatarstan” was held at the office of the French Business Association (MEDEF).

Minnikhanov noted that Tatarstan has a wide experience of cooperation with businessmen from EU countries, including France. He added that cooperation can be developed in the sphere of culture, education, tourism and sport.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to France Aleksandr Orlov, Authorized representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in France Iskander Yusupov and other officials took part in the meeting.
