Rustam Minnikhanov: Stability in the region depends much on work of judges

Two-day VII report and elect conference of judges of RT has started in Kazan. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of the forum.
The President stressed that stability in the region depends much on work of judges. “We want our jurisdiction to be modern, efficient, punitive but not derogative to one’s dignity”, - Head of Republic emphasized.
He also noted that republican authorities pay much attention to upgrading facilities of courts, creation of proper conditions for activity, and increase of reputation of judges and employees of the court.
“RT Government allocated 28 mln. roubles for realization of Federal Law “On providing access to information on courts’ activity in RF”. Main technical facilities for locating information in Internet have been created at judicial districts. Whereas serious work on optimization of state officials is carried out, 69 employees were sent to Magistrate Office. All of them have the status of state civil employees”, - Rustam Minnikhanov noted.
Today, on the first day of conference, reports on republican courts’ activity were heard. Chairman of RT Supreme Court Gennadi Baranov made major report on work of courts of jurisdiction.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
