Rustam Minnikhanov holds extended meeting of Board of Trustees and Supervisory Board of Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund

On December 13, at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held an extended meeting of the Board of Trustees and the Supervisory Board of the Investment and Venture Fund of the republic.

The meeting approved results of the 12th contest “Fifty best innovative ideas for Tatarstan”. Besides, a number of issues, including the organization and holding of the Russian Venture Forum in 2017 and the IV Russian Tech Tour were discussed. These events are expected to take place on April 26-27, 2017 in Innopolis, the satellite city of Kazan.

Director of the Investment and Venture Fund of the republic Ainur Aideldinov made a report on the outcomes of the fund's activities in 2016 and prospects for its further development.

Reports on new tools to attract investment, joint projects between  the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology and Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund were also made at the meeting.

Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Information and Communications of the republic Roman Shaikhutdinov, Chairman of Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Shamil Ageev, CEO of Russian Venture Capital Association Albina Nikkonen, President of International Venture Club (IVC) of the European Tech Tour William Stevens, CEO of Almaz Capital Partners Venture Fund, President of Elvis-Plus Alexander Galitsky and others took part in the meeting.
