RT President: We should know the opinion of entrepreneurs regarding development of small and medium business

“Tatarstan authorities are interested in getting information about problems of small and medium entrepreneurship straight from the source”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at the meeting with members of RT Association of small and medium enterprises. The event was held in House of RT Government with participation of RT Vice-premier Ravil Muratov, officials of republican ministries and departments.

Opening the meeting, RT President underlined the necessity of direct interaction between authorities and business community.

Head of republic recommended Head of Association Khaidar Khaliullin initiate such meetings between businessmen and heads of municipal formations and republic.

In the course of meeting businessmen told RT president about existing problems and mentioned facts of illegal actions on the part of officials.

President of Tatarstan and entrepreneurs agreed that it is necessary to create conditions so that heads of municipal formations will be interested in developing small and medium business. Rustam Minnikhanov promised that relevant documents and criteria of assessing work of heads of municipal formations on supporting entrepreneurship would be developed. In opinion of RT President, at the same time much depends on business community.

Rustam Minnikhanov offered to create a list of business projects to be realized in every region of Tatarstan.

Entrepreneurs told RT President about difficulties with getting plots of land and premises, also not so attractive conditions of receiving leasing grants. Members of Association suggested their participation in educational programs for novice businessmen.
