RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with delegation of “DuPont” Company in Moscow. The parties exchanged information and discussed new possible areas of cooperation.
Tatarstan was presented by Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, Director General of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin, Deputy Director General of JSC “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Kharis Mustafin and others.
DuPont Company was presented by Director for Eastern Europe Jean-Luc Duramy, Director on corporate marketing and sales for Eastern Europe Ruslan Yusupov, Head of developing business in Volga federal district of RF Rashit Azimov, Sales Director in transport sector for Eastern Europe Vlad Klassen, Regional director of department for plants protection Igor Teslenko and others.
OOO “DuPont science and technologies” work with Russian partners in the sphere of aerospace and electronic industry, construction, agriculture, food, automobile and transport industry and other key economic sectors. As regards Tatarstan “DuPont” Company carries out activity in construction sector, food industry and infrastructure.
By words of “DuPont” officials, Tatarstan is a future powerful auto cluster and cooperation with republic is very important for them.
In the course of meeting company officials discussed put much emphasis on extending cooperation with JSC “KAMAZ”, transport industry and development of agriculture. Parties agreed on holding scientific forum by “DuPont” Company and Tatarstan Republic this year, in international year of chemistry. They also agreed that specialists, engineers from Tatarstan would practice at “DuPont” enterprises.
On July, 6-7 2011 a working meeting with European businessmen is planned under the auspices of “DuPont” Company.
First meeting with “DuPont” officials by results of today’s meeting will be held on March, 14 at authorized representative office of RT in RF. It will be dedicated to agricultural issues. RT Minister of agriculture Marat Akhmetov will take part in the event.
On March, 16 “DuPont” officials will go to Kazan in order to learn about economic, industrial and investment potential of Tatarstan Republic.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
