Rustam Minnikhanov: “Builders should not be a nuisance for the population”

It is important that people feel comfortable during the major repair in their houses, that the builders do not turn into a nuisance for them, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov told a weekly meeting dealing with implementing the law of Russia “On the Fund for the Housing and Utilities Branch Reform” in Tatarstan and the Belekech local project in the part of ensuring vacancies at kindergartens for children.
R.Minnikhanov said the major repair programme for 2011 had been approved – 999 multi-dwelling units are going to be overhauled. The total financing in 2011 is 4.6 billion roubles.
“If there are more possibilities to obtain funding, we will consider such possibilities,” President enhanced. “The selection of contractors has practically been completed. We have instructed the treasury to open financing, where there is co-financing. Municipalities and housing inspectorates should daily monitor the issues, and inform the population.”
Builders should not become a burden for the people, when doing the work. “It is very important that people feel comfortable, that the builders do not turn into a nuisance for them,” he stressed.
The Tatarstan construction minister Irek Faizullin said the work within the programme had been commenced in all the municipalities, except the Mendeleev and Tetyush regions.
The auctions, to select contractors, have been completed in all the municipalities, he went on to say.
“A total of 206 facilities have submitted design specifications for expert review,” Irek Faizullin said. “The issue needs to be efficiently elaborated on in the next two weeks.”
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On 9 May Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a ceremony of laying flowers to the monument “The victorious soldier” dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WW II) 1941-1945 and held at Arsk cemetery in Kazan.
