RT Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva: The number of found objects of cultural heritage in Tatarstan approaches 7 thousand

RT Vice-premier, Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva suggested journalists telling more about people and companies that undertook restoration of historical monuments. She announced this at a briefing in RT Cabinet dedicated to conservation and use of objects of cultural heritage in Tatarstan. Traditionally the briefing was held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions and was broadcasted in Internet.
Zilya Valeeva informed that currently the number of found objects of cultural heritage in Tatarstan approaches 7 thousand. RT Minister of culture said that one of the most urgent problems is ownership of monuments.
Speaking about realization of program of conserving historical centre of Kazan city Zilya Valeeva noted that unfortunately volume of financing was reduced but still a lot was done.
Currently financial and economic grounds of new long-term target program “Miras-heritage” for 2011-2015 are being worked out.
RT Minister of culture informed that by Universiade-2013 it is planned to restore 66 cultural objects, 25 of them are historical and architectural monuments.
Chief architect of Kazan Tatiana Prokofieva told journalists that 552 objects of cultural heritage are located on the territory of Kazan city.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
