Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov to conduct “round table” at the international conference “Russia and the world: in search of innovative strategy”

March, 18. “Round table” on urgent issues of creating regional infrastructure for development of innovative activity started at 10 o’clock in Moscow within the limits of international scientific-practical conference “Russia and the world: in search of innovative strategy”. Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov will chair the session.

Participants of the event will discuss advanced global and domestic experience of forming innovative infrastructure, legislative and methodological initiatives in this sphere, efficiency of functioning of special economic zones, technoparks, venture funds, small innovative enterprises under higher educational institutions and define forms of perspective mutual cooperation.

Successful experience of Tatarstan Republic in organizing key subjects of regional innovative infrastructure will be presented at “round table”. These are in particular special economic zone “Alabuga”, modern technopolis “Himgrad” where small and medium enterprises in the sphere of chemistry and processing of polymeric production are situated, technopark “Idea” created for building the system of commercialization of high-tech ideas.

The event will start from signing agreement about cooperation between federal service for intellectual property, patents and trade marks and Government of Tatarstan Republic. The agreement defines five-year basis of cooperation and interaction organized for the purpose of creating favorable economic, legal and organizational conditions for development of inventive, patent-licensing and innovative activity in main subjects of Tatarstan Republic. The document is also aimed at increasing efficiency of realizing federal and republican target programs and projects on developing science, innovations and commercialization of intellectual property.

Also within the limits of “round table” it is planned to sign the agreement between OOO “Izvarino Farma” and ZAO “Innovative-production technopark “Idea” on realization of project “Creation of Centre of research and elaborations on the territory of technopolis “Himgrad”.

By the assignment of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov RT Ministry of economy implements organization of work on preparation and holding “round table” on urgent issues of creating regional infrastructure for development of innovative activity” by the example of Tatarstan.
