Rustam Minnikhanov: Cooperation between Tatarstan and Sverdlovsk region is useful for our regions

Being two of the most developed regions in Russia, Tatarstan and Sverdlovsk regions have many areas for mutually beneficial cooperation that are to be developed. This was said by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting with Governor of Sverdlovsk region Aleksandr Misharin in Kazan Kremlin.
Within the limits of trip to Kazan delegation of Sverdlovsk region visited Universiade village, educational centre of high medical technologies and IT-park.
The governor Aleksandr Misharin met with RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan Kremlin and signed plan of actions on realizing Agreement between Tatarstan Republic and Sverdlovsk region about cooperation in commercial and economic, scientific-technological, ecological, humanitarian, cultural and other spheres dated as of September, 25, 2010 for 2011-2014.
President of Tatarstan reminded that lately he visited Sverdlovsk region twice and got acquainted with advanced experience of the region.
According to R. Minnikhanov, important result of the meeting is that authorities of Tatarstan and Sverdlovsk regions established personal contacts.
Governor of Sverdlovsk region thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for hospitable reception and noted that members of delegation were impressed by what they had seen. By his words, Sverdlovsk region was interested in Tatarstan experience. In particular, the region is going to use groundwork of republic in the sphere of “Electronic government” and rendering state services in electronic format. Work of special economic zone “Alabuga” also seems to be rather attractive to Ural region as far as the same special economic zone appeared in Sverdlovsk region.
Aleksandr Misharin confirmed the intention of authorities to hold federal Sabantui on the highest level.
Summing up the meeting Governor of Sverdlovsk region called Tatarstan one of the most dynamically developing regions.
Aleksandr Misharin thanked President of Tatarstan for support in realization of project high-speed railway main line “Moscow - Ekaterinburg”.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
