RT Prosecutor's office: fishing should be organized for free

“Citizens should have possibility of free fishing at basins and prosecution bodies will strive for it”, - Head of department on supervision for observance of legislation in the sphere of economy and subsoil usage under RT Prosecutor's office Sergei Egorov said at briefing in RT Cabinet.

The briefing was dedicated to current situation that emerged because of imposition of paid restrictions for amateur and sports fishing (Federal law about amendments in Federal law “On fishery and conservation of water biological resources”).

According to Head of Department for protection and use of wildlife objects of RT Vladimir Osyanin, today republican authorities understand dissatisfaction of amateur fishermen regarding restrictions and organization of zones for paid fishing.

Head of department on supervision for observance of legislation in the sphere of economy and subsoil usage under RT Prosecutor's office Sergei Egorov informed that prosecution bodies will watch over the situation and protect constitutional rights of citizens.

Prosecutor's office has claims for imposing fines on fishermen.
