Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in World Economic Forum in Davos

On January 17, during his working trip to Davos (January 16-19), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in sessions and discussions at the World Economic Forum.

Rustam Minnikhanov attended the session “Strategic update: the future of digital economy” (Congress Centre, Aspen 1) that discussed drivers facilitating the transformation of digital economy and the ways leaders should prepare for these changes.

The President of Swiss Confederation Doris Leuthard addressed participants of the forum at the Congress Hall later on.

A plenary session with participation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping moderated by the founder of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab was of special interest to participants of the forum. The session was broadcast on the official website – www.weforum.org

In the afternoon Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the session “Russia–US Relations: Post-Election Dialogue” at the Russian House in Davos that will cover the following issues: will investors stay optimistic in relation to Russia after the US election? Will the investment attractiveness of the Russian technology sector and economy increase in 2017? Will Russia develop its priority areas of international cooperation with the West?. The session will be moderated by BBC journalist Nik Gowing.
