Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Finland

March, 24 is the first day of official visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov to Finland. The program of two-day staying in Finnish capital Helsinki includes meeting with the President of Finnish Republic Tarja Halonen, Minister of economic development of Finland, Minister of foreign trade of Finland, participation of Tatarstan delegation in seminar “Expomet” and session of joint working group of Tatarstan and Finland.

Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is going to hold meeting with heads of Finnish companies and organizations in Central union of technological industry of Finland. Later on R.Minnikhanov will meet with representatives of Tatar community of Finland.

On March 25 Tatarstan delegation will visit Research centre of renewable energy “Energon” (Lahti city) and get acquainted with activity of “Pajakulma Oy” company.

Tatarstan delegation is presented by RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, RT Minister of education and science Albert Gilmutdinov, Minister of ecology and natural resources Artem Sidorov, RT Minister of economyMidkhat Shagiakhmetov, Rector of Kazan (Volga region) federal university Ilshat Gafurov, Director general of JSC “Nizhnekamskneftehim” Vladimir Busygin, President of Association of enterprises and entrepreneurs Aleksandr Lavrentiev and others.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russian Federation in Finland Aleksandr Rumyantsev takes part in events within the limits of visit of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to Finland.
