Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with projects of Research centre of renewable energy “Energon” (Finland)

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Research centre of renewable energy “Energon” (Finland).

We remind that Head of Tatarstan Republic is on two-day working visit in Republic of Finland (March,24-25).

Research centre of renewable energy “Energon” belongs to Innovative-technological centre of Lahti city and is engaged into research activity in the sphere of energy efficiency and renewable energy. “Energon” was opened in 2010 for promoting, implementation and usage of renewable kinds of energy (within the frameworks of EU requirements and Finland).

Properties of biogas and bio-oil combustion, energy efficient solutions of boilers and burners, work of heating pumps and other equipment were demonstrated to Tatarstan officials.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov was told about research on increasing efficiency of using fossil fuel and use of heat formed under fuel combustion carried out at “Energon” centre. Finnish state supports those who use renewable energy in households. Finland allocated 30 mln. euro in 2011 to support transfer of households to renewable energy.

According to specialists of “Energon” centre renewable kinds of energy have very high export potential.

Rustam Minnikhanov and his party visited Pajakulma Oy Company which is also situated in innovative-technological centre of Lahti city. Here the joint project on producing rigging for “KAMAZ” trucks implemented by OOO “Innovative-production technopark Idea Southeast” and Pajakulma Company (Finland, Lahti city) was presented to the guests.
