As many as 180,400 square meters of housing commissioned in Tatarstan

On January 21, speaking at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities of republic Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of the year the State Construction Supervision and State Labour Inspectorate have conducted 17 inspections in the sphere of labour safety in construction industry and issued 2 decrees for the sum of 64,000 roubles.

Faizullin continued that as of January 20, 2017 as many as 180,400 square meters (7.5 per cent of the plan) have been commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 106 per cent as compared to the same period last year. All municipalities of the republic have started work on implementation of housing construction programme, the Minister went on to say.

In 2017, 13 houses with a total area of 22,600 square meters will be built under the rental housing programme.

It is planned to provide housing for 305 orphans under residential lease agreements for the sum of 346 mln 742.6 thousand roubles.

As many as 49 large families, having five and more children, will be provided housing in 2017. 

As of January 20, 2017, works have been organized at 5 of 31 facilities under the programme of construction of rural clubs.

Minnikhanov was also informed that some municipal districts have problems with timely allocation of land plots for construction of facilities under regional programmes.

Tatarstan President said those found responsible for sabotaging the implementation of regional programs will be strictly punished.
