Projects of Tatarstan petrochemistry development considered in “Tatneftehiminvest-holding”

Session of “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Directors board was held in RT Cabinet under chairmanship of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. A range of issues important for development of RT oil-gas-chemical complex was discussed at the meeting.

Manager for business development in CIS countries Peter Medler told members of Directors board about offers of «Linde» company (Germany) connected with design and construction of large ethylene installations.

Director-general of “Nizhnekamskneftehim” Vladimir Busygin informed that after considering offers of other companies, projects of «Linde» company and ABB “Lummus Global” were selected. Final results will be announced in April.

Rustam Minnikhanov noted the importance of contest-based selection of offers and paid attention to necessary consideration of the following factors: optimality of technological scheme, financial scheme and terms of project realization.

We remind that “Nizhnekamskneftehim” is going to construct new plants for ethylene production within the limits of program on developing petrochemistry in Tatarstan.

Deputy Director-general of «Air Liquide» company Dmitri Kuznetsov told about development of cooperation of French company «Air Liquide» with Tatarstan petrochemical enterprises. Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that «Air Liquide» is already the partner of “Tatneft” company.

Director-general of “Tatneftehiminvest-holding” Rafinat Yarullin informed about problematic issues of providing raw materials within the frameworks of realizing the program of inter-republican cooperation.
