Rustam Minnikhanov meets Board Chairman of Mir Holding and Design Group Ibrahim Mirmakhmutogullary

On January 27, at his meeting with Board Chairman of Mir Holding and Design Group (Turkey) Ibrahim Mirmakhmutogullary, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan and Turkey are closely cooperating within the framework of Russia-Turkey relations. He also noted that Turkey is the republic’s strategic partner and a lot of big joint investment projects had already been implemented.

The parties discussed implementation of the production of plastic pipes by Mir Holding and Design Group in Alabuga Specialized Economic Zone.

Ibrahim Mirmakhmutogullary made a short presentation about the project of the biggest greenhouse facility in Tatarstan and offered to organize the visits for specialists of Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and other relevant enterprises to Turkish greenhouse facilities.

Rustam Minnikhanov said he would include the visit to Mir Holding and Design Group in his programme of his working visits to Turkey.

Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov, Minister of industry and trade Albert Karimov, and other officials took part in the meeting.
