President of Tatarstan reviewed the process of monuments restoration in Bolgar

April, 3. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Bolgar to review the process of restoring cultural and historical monuments. He was accompanied by RT State Counselor, Chairman of board of trustees of Fund “Vozrozhdenie” Mintimer Shaimiev and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. Firstly they visited riverside station and museum of Bolgar civilization under construction.
Guests also got acquainted with restoration and conservation projects of Cathedral Mosque, Khan Palace, and some other historical objects.
Rustam Minnikhanov was interested how these projects may preserve historical authority. Mintimer Shaimiev assured RT President that while working out the projects all necessary consultations were conducted with specialists, including UNESCO.
Guests also visited Eastern Mausoleum, Black Chamber, and Minor Minaret.
Rustam Minnikhanov highly assessed architectural project of the mosque “Bolgar” under construction. The final object of trip was Museum of bread.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
