Rustam Minnikhanov: On the threshold of Universiade-2013 modern hotels of medium price category are required for Kazan hotel complex

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of ZAO «United leasing company «Center Capital» Avanesyan Igor Grigorievich, president KB «Transstroibank» Chitipokhovyan Petr Steranovich, general director of hotel «Courtyard Marriot» McNeil Cameron.
The meeting was held in House of RT government with participation of Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Director of Department for external relations under RT President – Aide to RT President on foreign issues Iskander Muflikhanov.
According to President of KB «Transstroibank» Petr Chitipokhovyan, today Tatarstan is attractive for investments and business development, it is one of the most dynamic and economically active regions of federation.
Investors believe that hotel «Courtyard Marriot» that was built in the centre of Kazan will become a part of touristic infrastructure of the city and influence creation of positive image of Tatarstan in the eyes of foreign guests and tourists. The world-famous hotel chain «Marriot» includes 3700 hotels in many countries.
Participants of the meeting discussed further development of touristic network of republic that is becoming more and more actual on the threshold of Universiade-2013 and forthcoming matches within the frameworks of World football championship 2018.
Rustam Minnikhanov noted that in spite of serious changes Kazan hotel complex is still in need of modern hotels with a set of qualitative services of medium price category.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
