RT President: We are ready to offer extra interesting conditions for construction of paid parking

Tatarstan authorities are ready to offer the following conditions for new projects of multi-level parking in Kazan - full long-term discharge from some tax payments, free network connection, legislative stimulation of parking use by car owners. Measures on stimulating construction of such important objects were discussed at a meeting in RT Cabinet held by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin detoured a number of sites where multi-level parking is to be constructed.
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin informed that executive committee on the city offered 12 areas for constructing parking sites for 9,5 thousand places. The map of parking locations is introduced on portal of RT Government. According to assessments of Mayor’s office daily 10,5 thousand cars park by the roadside in the centre of Kazan.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized necessity of constructing multi-level parks in Kazan.
In order to attract investors for construction of multi-level parks Tatarstan authorities are ready to offer unprecedented conditions for realization of such projects.
Rustam Minnikhanov offered to exempt parks from land and property taxes for 15 years, decrease income tax and provide free network connection. RT President gave Mayor’s office and RT Government assignment to define benefits till the end of April, set limits for projects pretending to receive these benefits and work out measures for stimulating car owners to use car parks.
Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to form parking prices within a single tariff policy, he asked Mayor’s office and State committee on tariffs to discuss the policy with potential investors.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
