Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Leipzig

On March 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a two-day working visit in Leipzig, was met by Saxony's Justice Minister Sebastian Gemkow, Russian Consul General in Leipzig Vyacheslav Logutov and other officials at the Leipzig-Halle airport.

The main purpose of the visit is participation in the 14th International exhibition of spare parts, components, modules and technologies «Z/Intec-2017».

Besides, the signing of an agreement between Tupolev Kazan National Research Technical Universtity and AMTES GmbH is scheduled. In Leipzig, Minnikhanov will visit the BMW Group plant and the startup business accelerator SpinLab. A meeting with representatives of the Tatar Youth Organization "Argamak" is also planned.

It is expected that during his stay in Leipzig, Minnikhanov will have a meeting with the Prime Minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich.

As many as 100 cultural heritage sites will be examined and taken under state protection in Tatarstan

On 24 April, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, the Chairman of the Regional Committee on protection of Cultural Heritage Sites Ivan Guschin informed that in 2024 the Committee initiated historical and cultural expertise of nearly 100 sites and 20 archeological monuments to take them under state protection.
