Rustam Minnikhanov visits International exhibition of spare parts, components, modules and technologies "Z / Intec-2017" in Leipzig

On March 8, during his working trip to Leipzig (Germany), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the International exhibition of spare parts, components, modules and technologies "Z / Intec-2017".

The exhibition is located at the Leipzig Trade Fair, one of the oldest ones in the world. The main sections of the exhibition are supplies for the car, engineering and machine-building industries, as well as electronics / electrical engineering, industrial equipment, tools, metal processing.

The programme of the Z exhibition includes business meetings, international conferences, special meetings and seminars, as well as a wide range of events for exhibitors and visitors. The "Z" and "Intec" are a successful "duet" of exhibitions at the Leipzig fair.

Tatarstan had its interactive exhibition stand organized by Investment Development Agency of the republic. Visitors could get acquainted with such projects as the Kama innovative territorial production cluster "Innokam", SEZ "Alabuga", SEZ "Innopolis", etc.

During his participation in the exhibition, Tatarstan President had a meeting with representatives of German business circles. Prime Minister of Saxony Stanislaw Tillich, Managing Director of Cryotec Anlagenbau GmbH - Cryotech Anlagenbau (LNG technology) Lutz Hoffman, CEO of Hörmann-rawema- Hörmann-Equality Engineering & Consulting GmbH "(cooperation with KAMAZ Automaker) Holger Füssel, Head of “Nothelfer & Partners "NJP (legal services, representative office in Kazan) Hans Joachim Nothelfer and other businessmen took part in the meeting.

Welcoming German businessmen, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in establishing and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with German companies which traditionally are world leaders in a number of sectors of the economy. Tatarstan President assured them that German partners will be provided with all necessary infrastructures, a special tax regime, qualified personnel in the republic.

He also told German businessmen about the agreement reached on the opening of a representative office of Tatarstan in the federal state of Saxony. According to Minnikhanov, an agreement outlining scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other areas of cooperation will be signed in the near future.

In his turn, Tillich called German businessmen for using Tatarstan's opportunities to enter the Russian market. He called the development of interregional relations an effective tool, despite the persisting sanctions.
