The project of water purification presented to President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov

The project of purifying basins by the example of lake “Sredni Kaban” (Kazan) was presented to President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov by officials of PACE company (PACE advanced water engineering) headed by its founder Johann Perslou.
The presentation took place in House of RT government within the meeting of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of All-Russia public organization of small and medium entrepreneurship “OPORA Rossii” Sergei Borisov. At the beginning of meeting Rustam Minnikhanov and Sergei Borisov exchanged opinions about state of entrepreneurship in Russia, prospects of developing small and medium business as the basis for forming middle class. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that today it is entrepreneurship that intensively implements and uses innovations in its activity.
President of Tatarstan believes that the process of modernization being underway in Russia includes change of attitude towards entrepreneurship and creation of conditions for foreign business and investments. President of “OPORA Rossii” Sergei Borisov noted in his turn that today the Republic of Tatarstan is one of developed regions in terms of innovations. That is why Tatarstan may be interested in technologies of purifying basins offered by PACE company.
Scientists of Kazan (Volga region) federal university have been working on the project of purifying lake “Sredni Kaban” together with specialists of PACE company.
Rustam Minnikhanov was told in details about the project and technologies that may be used for purifying lake “Sredni Kaban” and its maintenance in a proper state.
Officials of PACE company presented two variants - quick purification of the basin and its use for holding competitions within summer Universiade - 2013 and more long-term approach.
In order to discuss the project in details Rustam Minnikhanov offered to create a working group consisted of representatives of Kazan (Volga region) federal university, specialists of PACE company and officials of RT Ministry of ecology and natural resources.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
