RF Minister of culture Aleksandr Avdeev attended festive event dedicated to 125th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukai

“Gabdulla Tukai is a successor of cultural traditions of Tatar people who brought to world civilization such people as Kul Gali, Mukhamediar, Mardjani, Nasyri”, - RF Minister of culture Aleksandr Avdeev announced at a festive event dedicated to 125th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukai.
The event was held in M.Jalil theater of opera and ballet (Kazan) with participation of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.
By words of Russian Minister of culture, Tukai is one of founders of Tatar literature and modern Tatar language who favoured development of all arts – Tatar music, painting, theatre. Today Tukai is the greatest, the beloved and popular poet of Tatar people. Representing Eastern culture and Islamic civilization, Tatars were the first among Muslim peoples which started adopting European cultures. Now, a century after, we see the real power of Gabdulla Tukai era. At that time Tatar society was characterized by intensive religious life, spreading of progress and reformation ideas, emergence of national press, literary criticism, national journalism and new areas of national culture, such as Tatar theatre, composer and visual art.
Later on performance of opera by R.Akhiyarova «Love of poet» took place in M.Jalil theater of opera and ballet.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
