On March 16, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Transneft Nikolay Tokarev took part in the opening a new office building of Transneft Kama Region in Kazan.
A high-rise office building is located in the centre of Kazan on 20, Patrice Lumumba Street. The construction of the facility started in August 2014. It consists of two blocks - 12-storey and 5-storey buildings connected to each other.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov said that this modern facility will become a decoration of Kazan. According to him, the high-rise building harmoniously fits into the architectural ensemble of the city . Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that the created comfortable workplaces will allow employees of the company to improve performance indicators.
In his turn, Tokarev noted that such solemn events, when the work on serious, long-term projects is completed, have taken place regularly in the company over the last years. He reminded that it took two and a half years to built the facility in Kazan. Today there are 600 workplaces equipped with modern equipment and meeting the most modern requirements in the new office.
Tokarev congratulated the employees of Transneft Kama Region on moving to the new building. He also expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the republic for the successful and prompt construction of the facility.
Minnikhanov and Tokarev, as well as other honoured guests, looked around the new building, got acquainted with the work of a territorial control center, visited the Information Technology Department, assembly hall and the company's museum, where they wrote a note in the Book of Honoured Guests.
Later on the same day, a meeting on further development of the company and cooperation with Tatarstan was held.
