Rustam Minnikhanov holds session of working group on preparing session of Council under Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in VFD on issues of developing energy complex

President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of working group on preparing the session of Council under Pl.. Representative of RF President in VFD “On prospects of developing energy complex in the Volga Federal District”.

The session was held in Kazan Kremlin, Residence of RT President in format of video conference with all regions within Volga Federal District.

We remind that Rustam Minnikhanov is the head of working group on preparing the issue “On prospects of developing energy complex in Volga Federal District” to be considered at the session of Council under Pl. Representative of RF President in VFD (to be held in third decade of June in Perm).

Deputy P. Representative of RF President in VFD Andrei Kubrin also attended the session of working group.

Addressing participants of the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov noted that energy complex is an important part of any region’s economy, especially those being within the Volga Federal District as far as they’re industrial and consume great amount of energy. Issues to be discussed at session of Council under Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in VFD are connected with development of energy complex, efficient tariff policy, energy and resource efficiency and providing energy security in regions.

Officials of Bashkortostan Republic, Mari El, Mordovia, Udmurtia, Chuvashia, Perm region, Penza, Nizhni Novgorod, Orenburg, Samara, Saratov, Ulianovsk regions took part in video conference.
