Rustam Minnikhanov met with Minister of foreign trade of United Arab Emirates sheikha Lubna bint Al Kasimi

“The Republic of Tatarstan as one of economically developed subjects of Russian Federation is interested in cooperation with United Arab Emirates”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said at the meeting with Minister of foreign trade of United Arab Emirates Mrs sheikha Lubna bint Al Kasimi.
Rustam Minnikhanov is in Dubai with working visit to take part in investment forum Annual Investment Meeting 2011.
At the meeting with Minister of foreign trade of UAE sheikha Lubna President of Tatarstan informed her about social and economic state of republic, development of region’s economy and its geographical position.
By words of Rustam Minnikhanov Tatarstan is searching for new partners to realize major investment projects. The example of successful cooperation with business representatives of many countries is developing special economic zone “Alabuga”. In recent years republic has also been intensively developing relations with Arabic world. In June 2011 the international summit of Islamic business and finances will be held in Kazan for the third time.
Rustam Minnikhanov is sure that after current meeting relationships between Tatarstan and United Arab Emirates will be strengthened.

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.

On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.
