Rustam Minnikhanov visits the Russian Federal Nuclear Center in Sarov

On April 6, Tatarstan delegation led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Russian Federal Nuclear Center - All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Experimental Physics (RFNC-VNIIEF) in the city of Sarov (Nizhny Novgorod region).

During the visit, Tatarstan President got acquainted with the activities of the Institute of Laser Physics and the Computing Center of the Institute of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics. Minnikhanov was demonstrated inventions of local scientists, in particular, supercomputers and exhibits in the field of supercomputer technologies.

Then, Minnikhanov and his party visited the RFNC - VNIIEF Nuclear Weapons museum and laid flowers at the monument to Yulii Khariton, an academician, one of the founders of nuclear physics and nuclear industry in our country.

At the end of their visit, Minnikhanov and members of Tatarstan delegation took part in a meeting on the topic "Digital Economy - the Future of Russia. Single team.”
