Vladimir Puchkov visits the island town of Sviyazhsk

On April 18, during his working trip to Tatarstan, Russian Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Disaster Relief Vladimir Puchkov visited the island town of Sviyazhsk. He was accompanied by Prime Minister of the republic Alexey Pesoshin.
The guest was met by Deputy Chairman of State Council Tatyana Larionova, metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Feofan, Director of the state historical and architectural museum reserve “The island town of Sviyazhsk” Artem Silkin.
Puchkov looked around the sights, including the Assumption Cathedral where paintings and iconostasis are being reconstructed.

On 27 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with al municipalities taking part in it via videoconference which discussed measures on stepping up traffic safety, decrease of car accidents and reducing the severity of their consequences in the republic.
