Rustam Minnikhanov holds meting with suppliers of auto components at SEZ “Alabuga”

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited special economic zone “Alabuga”. Together with RF Deputy Minister of economic development Oleg Saveliev Head of republic saw construction sites of two resident enterprises and held a meeting with suppliers of auto components.
R.Minnikhanov and O.Saveliev visited plants of companies “Rockwool-Volga” and “Kastamonu integrated industry”. Plant “Rockwool-Volga” is within the international group of companies Rockwool – one of world leaders in the sphere of production of heat-insulating materials.
Construction of plant of Turkish company Kastamonu Integrated Wood Industry and Trade Co started in 2011.
Opening the meeting R.Minnikhanov noted that republican authorities see prospects in development of special economic zone. He reminded that SEZ focuses on automobile industry and auto components, processing of polymers and production of construction materials.
Issues connected with possible emergence of new plants for producing auto components in SEZ were discussed at today’s meeting. Representatives of foreign supplier companies of leading world producers of auto components took part in the meeting.
RF Deputy Minister of economic development Oleg Saveliev marked correctness of choosing the sphere of auto components for development of SEZ “Alabuga”. He noted that automobile market is developing in Russia. “Furthermore new rules of industrial assembly put foreign auto producers in rather tough but tolerant conditions by the level of localization. Thus today the crucial objective for producers is providing such localization”, - RF Deputy Minister of economic development announced.
By words of Oleg Saveliev due to location of plants in SEZ producers would have privileges. This will be a competitive advantage in turn for auto producers working in Russia as well.
Oleg Saveliev assured that on the part of Russian federation and Tatarstan Republic all necessary measures would be taken to provide comfortable conditions for residents of special economic zone. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov confirmed readiness of republican authorities to support investors.

On 24 April in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a joint meeting the Council for Enforcement of Legislation of Languages of Tatarstan and the organizational committee for celebrations of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay which summarized results of work of the regional law enforcement on official languages of the republic and considered progress of the implementation of the plan of main events for preparation and celebration of the 140th birthday of Gabdulla Tukay .
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects.
