President of Tatarstan visits a large family in Kazan on Children’s day

Today, on Children’s protection day President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited a large family in Kazan. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin and other officials accompanied Rustam Minnikhanov.
Eight children are now brought up in Vernikovsky family. Their mother, Raisa Vernikovskaya, is the teacher of mathematics and now is on child-care leave. Father, Leonid Vernikovsky is a trowel worker.
The family receives various forms of social support provided in Tatarstan for large and low-income families - by and large about 16 000 roubles per month. Earlier Vernikovsky family lived in a hostel but in the beginning of 2011 they received three-room flat by the program of social mortgage. Today President of Tatarstan visited the family living in new flat.
Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated family on new home and handed presents to every child - bicycles and soft toys. Besides they received TV, kitchen suite and furniture for children’s room.
Raisa Vernikovskaya thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for support. R.Minnikhanov in his turn was interested whether family has any problems.
President of Tatarstan advised children to go in for sports intensively. He reminded that a lot of sport objects had been built within the limits of Universiade 2013 and are now receiving citizens.

On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
