Rustam Minnikhanov says that participation in the Immortal Regiment patriotic campaign should be voluntary

On May 6, speaking at the morning meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that participation in the Immortal Regiment patriotic campaign should be voluntary, attraction of administrative resources is unacceptable.

Minnikhanov stressed that the campaign is supported by many residents of the republic, every family has relatives who participated in World War II.

Separately, Minnikhanov touched upon security issues. Tatarstan President asked to take all necessary measures to ensure anti-terrorism security during the Immortal Regiment patriotic campaign in cities and districts of the republic.
