Rustam Minnikhanov inspects the course of sowing campaign in Verkhneuslonsky region

On May 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov inspected sowing campaign in Verkhneuslonsky region.

The president visited “Tatkrakhmalpatoka” enterprise that specializes in processing of corn, rye, and barley, and produces high-maltose syrup and malt extract. The capacity is 40 000 tonnes of grain extracts per 24 hours. The main customers of the products are companies from Russia, Moldova, Belarus, China and Poland.

Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with heads of agricultural enterprises and investors.  He called agricultural workers for intensifying work and use all available reserves. He asked leadership of the region to use different measures to encourage employees.

Rustam Minnikhanov also laid flowers to the memorial to soldiers fallen in WWII.
