President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with CEO of International swimming federation

A meeting of official delegation from Tatarstan with CEO of FINA Kornel Markulesku and Head of marketing department of FINA Peter Hall was held today in Lausanne (Switzerland) at headquarters of International swimming federation.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Director-general of ANO “Executive directorate of World summer universiade 2013 in Kazan” and CEO of application committee “Kazan 2015/2017” Vladimir Leonov took part in negotiations.
Parties discussed course of application campaign for World championship in water sports 2015/2017, discussed issues connected with preparation for final presentation held on July, 15 in Shanghai (China).
Moreover, preparation for forthcoming supervision visit of FINA delegation to Russia was discussed at the meeting. It is expected that FINA delegation will arrive in Moscow on June 14 to meet with Chairman of RF Government Vladimir Putin. On June 15-16 representatives of FINA will have rather tight schedule in Kazan.
Except for Kazan Guangzhou (China) and Hong Kong (special administrative region of China), Guadalajara (Mexico), Montreal (Canada, applied for 2015 only) claim for hosting World championships in water sports 2015/2017.

Leyla Fazleeva holds a meeting of the commission under the Rais of Tatarstan on the Russian language
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.

On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.

On 27 March, speaking at a ceremonial event dedicated to celebrations of the Day of Russian National Guard held at the Kazan City Hall with participation of the Chief of the Office of the Staff of the Rais of the republic Asgat Safarov, heads of law-enforcement bodies of the republic and veterans and employees of the territorial Directorate of the National Guard, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian National Guard Directorate for the republic Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally acknowledged as one of the best in the country.
