Rustam Minnikhanov holds meeting of working group on preparing session of the Council under plenipotentiary to RF President in Volga federal district on issue of developing energy complex

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting of working group on preparing session of the Council under plenipotentiary to RF President in Volga federal district “On prospects of developing energy complex in Volga federal district”.
The event took place in House of RT Government (Kazan) with participation of representatives of all RF subjects within Volga federal district.
For preparing the session a working group headed by Rustam Minnikhanov was formed according to decision of the Council from April, 1 2011. Members of working group have already gathered to discuss organizing issues on May,6 2011 (see details http://president.tatarstan.ru/news/view/103833).
Prospects of developing energy complex in Volga federal district will be discussed at the Council under plenipotentiary to RF President in Volga federal district on June, 27 in Perm.
RT President Rustam Minnikhanov noted that such events allow forming tools of interaction between regions on various issues. He informed that RF Minister of energy Sergey Shmatko suggested enlarging the range of issues and discuss not only development of energy complex in Volga federal district but also oil production and refining, and development of the whole oil-and-gas producing industry.
Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized main topics to be discussed at the session in Perm: solving problems of renewing energy equipment, creation of conditions for fail-safe operation of existing distributing networks (deterioration of distributing networks in VFD regions makes 80 %). Also it is planned to propose revival of scientific-technical energy council and discuss expansion of territorial network companies.
Creation of minor oil companies will likewise be debated at the Council.
Rustam Minnikhanov paid attention to petrol price increase. It seriously affects agricultural producers.
Participants of current session also discussed development of minor energy, imperfection of federal legislation in the sphere of energy and other urgent issues.
Deputy plenipotentiary to RF President in Volga federal district Aleksey Kubrin took part in session of working group.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
