Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of FISU George Killian

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of International University Sport Federation (FISU) George Killian.
The meeting was held in House of RT Government with participation of RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, member of FISU executive committee - President of Russian sport student council Oleg Matytsin and RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Rafis Burganov.
President of FISU George Killian arrived in Tatarstan capital for working within the frameworks of international conference dedicated to problems of developing student sport movement “Sport. Education. Culture.” The event will be held on June 16-19 in GTRK “Korston” (Kazan) with participation of heads and members of FISU executive committee.
Rustam Minnikhanov and George Killian discussed preparation and holding summer Universiade 2013, construction of sport objects, etc. Parties also discussed the issue of sport heritage of World student games and work of International educational centre of FISU that will appear in Kazan. The centre is meant to become an innovative project on training qualified staff for world student sport and support of student sport projects.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
