Rustam Minnikhanov met with chairman of RF Union cinemakers chairman Nikita Mikhalkov

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with chairman of RF Union cinemakers chairman Nikita Mikhalkov. The meeting took place in House of RT Government.
Nikita Mikhalkov is on one-day working visit in Kazan. In the morning together with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials he participated in ceremony of laying flowers to the Eternal Flame in Victory Park in Kazan (Day of memory and sorrow dedicated to 70-anniversary of beginning of Great Patriotic War).
Issues of developing domestic cinematography, cooperation of Tatarstan with RF Union cinemakers were discussed in the course of communication with Head of Tatarstan. RT Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Head of Department on issues of internal policy at RT President Staff Aleksandr Terentiev attended the meeting.
In the evening Nikita Mikhalkov is going to take part in a meeting with veterans of Great Patriotic War and labor, representatives of creative intellectuals and the youth. The film «Burnt by the sun 2: Citadel» will be demonstrated later on (Kazan, “Suvar-Plasa”). Rustam Minnikhanov is meant to take part in the event as well.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
