Ildar Khalikov: JSC “Network Company” was right to choose such strategic guidelines as reliability, quality and safety

Stakeholders of JSC “Network Company” have decided not to pay dividends by results of work in 2010. Such a decision was made at an annual meeting of company’s stakeholders.
Director-general of JSC “Network Company” Damir Safiullin presented a key report about company’s activity in 2010. Particularly, he informed that 2010 brought positive results by all directions. Proceeds made 16,613 bln. roubles. Total cost of company’s services made 10,7 bln. roubles in 2010. Taxes and dues transferred to budgets of all levels made 2,932 bln. roubles. Gain on sales in comparison with the same last year’s period has increased by 134,5 mln. roubles (2 %) and made 6 bln. 54,6 mln. roubles. 1640 technological breaches were investigated last year. By words of Damir Safiullin their rise is connected with abnormal weather conditions. The number of employees - 6807, average salary - 35 000 roubles.
Damir Safiullin pointed out the key strategic task for 2011 – define and approve sources of financing of 5-year investment program of the company at the rate of 38 bln. roubles. The program was developed in accordance with RT President Rustam Minnikhanov Edict dated as of April, 2, 2011. It is expected that program realization will let bringing technical state of energy objects to regulatory requirements.
First Deputy Director on economy and finances Razida Gilyazova reported on allocation of company’s profits.
Speaking at the meeting of JSC “Network Company” stakeholders RT Premier Ildar Khalikov noted that the company was right to choose such strategic guidelines as reliability, quality and safety. “The company managed to overcome challenges connected with unfavourable weather conditions in winter 2010 thus demonstrating its professional competence”, - he said.
Premier pointed out positive rates of the company in 2010 – increase in volume of rendered services on power transmission, increase in total capacity of consumer power receivers. “This speaks about progressive economic development of our republic and possibilities of power engineering specialists favor this development”, - he stated.
Head of RT government emphasized the problem of physical depreciation of power supply networking equipment.
According to Ildar Khalikov uninterrupted power supply should be provided for the following objects – TANECO, Universiade objects, objects of republican program “Belekech”, objects of cultural heritage if island-town Sviyazhsk and ancient town of Bolgar, SEZ “Alabuga”.
“We should build energy efficient society in Tatarstan”, - I.Khalikov said. He believes that programs on increasing energy efficiency should be implemented more intensively because competitiveness of the whole industry and economy of republic depends on competitiveness of energy sector.

On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
On May 14, Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokhir Rasulzoda, who arrived on a working visit in Kazan to take part in the events of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, was met by Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
