Investment project of constructing garbage recycling plant in Tatarstan has been presented to Premier of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov by Juliano Urbani – coordinator of organization committee on holding the Year of Italy in Russia 2011.

We remind that delegation of Italian Republic led by Juliano Urbani is on one-day visit to Kazan.

On June 28 in the morning members of delegation held a meeting at RT Ministry of construction, architecture and housing where the project of constructing a garbage recycling plant was presented.

RT Premier welcomed guests on Tatarstan land. He noted that lately relations between Italy and Tatarstan as one of RF regions had been consolidating. For the last five years Italy went up to the second place from the 14th by the volume of foreign-trade turnover. Realization of some projects in various economic sectors favors such rise. The largest one is production of “Fiat” cars in Tatarstan.

Juliano Urbani noted that the Year of Italy in Russia is popular in both countries that enables consolidation of interaction in cultural and educational sectors.

Juliano Urbani presented project of constructing a garbage recycling plant to Ildar Khalikov. By his words, the project is primarily aimed at solving ecological problems and extra generation of power and heat.

Head of RT Government emphasized such issues as market positioning, analysis of tariffs and prices for garbage recycling offered by other companies. We have started working, and should not stop, Premier said. He believes the most important factor is extra generation of power as a result of recycling.

Ildar Khalikov suggested making Minister of construction, architecture and housing Farit Khanifov responsible for coordination of activities within the framework of project.

RT Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin, Head of RT Agency for investment development Linar Yakupov, RT First Deputy minister of industry and trade Igor Nosov and others attended the meeting.
