First Vice-premier of RF Government Viktor Zubkov thanked Tatarstan authorities for work on prevention and liquidation of forest fires

First Vice-premier of RF Government Viktor Zubkov held a regular meeting with representatives of federation subjects dedicated to course of works on prevention and liquidation of forest fires on the territory of Russian Federation. RT First Vice-premier Ravil Muratov took part in the event held in Kazan Kremlin (videoconference hall).
Opening the meeting First Vice-premier of RF Government Viktor Zubkov stressed that fire-hazardous period is now at its highest point. At the same time not all regions have prepared well for the season. He reminded that at the previous meeting it had been noted that 15 RF regions still did not present their consolidated fire-fighting plans, patrolling routes and human resources. For now only four regions did not introduce their plans.
Viktor Zubkov informed that according to the latest data 11 settlements in Sverdlovsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions have suffered from forest fires.
First Vice-premier of RF Government asked to report on situation especially in those regions which did not present their fire-fighting plans. He also added that this year RF government allocated additional funds for setting this urgent issue. Financing of forestry was doubled, funds for purchasing 2 000 units of fire-fighting machinery were allocated.
Viktor Zubkov considers revealing and punishment of people guilty of forest fires to be an important task. He also claimed for more efficient work with municipal regions.
First Vice-premier of RF Government thanked Tatarstan leadership for well-coordinated work in summer period and especially on prevention of forest fires.
On 21 April, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, the Head of the Russian Federal Tax Service for Tatarstan Marat Safiullin said that slightly more than one week is left to file an income tax return for 2025 with the tax service. According to the results of the tax campaign 5.5.bn rubles should come to the regional budget, he said and informed who should submit declarations and who is entitled to benefits.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. We all remember with gratitude the outstanding philanthropists – the Akchurin brothers, the Alafuzovs, and the Ushkovs, whose good deeds and generous donations contributed to the development of culture, education, and healthcare in our republic. The glorious traditions are continued by modern philanthropists and patrons of Tatarstan.
On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
