Rustam Minnikhanov: Tatarstan should find acceptable variants to participate in program on resettling citizens from unfit houses

“Tatarstan should find acceptable variants to participate in program on resettling citizens from unfit houses”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a meeting on issues of housing construction.

On July, 1 within the limits of republican meeting on issues of housing construction RT Minister of construction, architecture and housing Irek Faizullin informed that realization of targeted program on resettling citizens from unfit houses on 2011 implies settlement of citizens from 1154 residential quarters. At the same time in accordance with conducted analysis 22 municipal regions cannot provide flats which are equivalent in area. Thus bigger flats are provided and in accordance with Federal law № 185 the budget of municipal formations should imply funds to pay for extra area.

Irek Faizullin informed that for June 29 eight municipal regions had provided funds for extra areas. The issue is still unresolved in 11 regions.

RT President sharply criticized actions of RT Ministry of construction, architecture and housing. “You told me that the decision about realization of program on resettling citizens from unfit houses was made and now we’ve found that municipal regions should have funds. They are built into the program already, we speak about paying for extra square meters. Settlers will have to pay themselves.
According to Irek Faizullin there is a variant to participate via State housing fund at RT President (social mortgage).

In 2010 Tatarstan also took part in realization of the program on resettling citizens from unfit houses. Citizens of island-town Sviyazhsk moved to new flats. In 2011 30 regions take part in the program.
