Tatarstan delegation led by Premier Ildar Khalikov takes part in Sabantui 2011 in Moscow

July,2. Prime Minister of Tatarstan took part in celebrations dedicated to national Tatar holiday Sabantui in Moscow (state culture preserve “Kolomenskoe”).

The Republic of Tatarstan was also presented by Plenipotentiary of RT in Russia Ravil Akhmetshin, First deputy chairman of RF State Duma Oleg Morozov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny city Vasil Shaikhraziev and other officials.

The event was organized by Moscow government, authorized representation of RT in RF, Moscow regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy, Administration of Naberezhnye Chelny city.
Chairman of Moscow regional Tatar national-cultural autonomy Rasim Akchurin announced about opening of Sabantui 2011 from the stage.

Deputy Head of Department for inter-regional cooperation, national policy and interaction with religious organizations Yuri Nuzhdin welcomed guests on behalf of Moscow government.

RT Premier Ildar Khalikov congratulated Moscow citizens and read out greetings on behalf of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. “Sabantui is a powerful factor of spiritual unity, a holiday of soul which helps everyone feel his participation in the best traditions and intellectual values of the nation, its rich and original culture. I’m sure during the Year of Tukai we will hear his sincere poems dedicated to native land and nation. Let this Sabantui give us bright unforgettable impressions, cheerfulness and encourage us for new achievements”, - the address says.

Opening of Gabdulla Tukai memorial in Zamoskvorechie district on April, 26, 2011 has become a significant event in Moscow cultural life. Representatives of business structures made substantial contribution into construction of the monument and development of the surrounding area. RT Premier Ildar Khalikov handed Letters of gratitude to three of them.

Letter of gratitude on behalf of RT Cabinet and Ministry of culture was granted to Director general of JSC “SUPR” (Special department of underground works), Letter of gratitude on behalf of RT State Council and Ministry of culture – to President of “Russky standart” company Rustam Tariko, Letter of gratitude on behalf of RT Cabinet – to entrepreneur Rafael Faizov.

During the day one could hear Tatar and Bashkir songs performed by popular artists and ensembles on the territory of park “Kolomenskoe”. Various competitions were held on sport grounds.

Main actions were deployed at a fighting maidan. Art director of folk team at Tatar cultural centre of Moscow Radif Yavaev was the Stage director of Sabantui 2011.
