On June 15, during his working visit to Naberezhnye Chelny, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the Sunrise City Multifunctional Residential Complex.

The project of the residential complex includes 12 residential blocks with different number of floors from 19 to 25.

Started in May 2014, the construction is carried out in stages. The complex houses a shopping and entertainment complex, a parking for 1,000 cars and KidSpace, the children's city of professions.

The shopping center features a roof with a leisure area for residents of the complex and visitors of the shopping center.

During the tour of the complex, Chief Coordinator of the Sunrise City project Kemal Evren Demirci told Tatarstan President that the shopping and entertainment facility began functioning in November last year. The total area of the shopping center is 35,000 square meters, 23,000 of which are for rent. At the moment, the occupancy rate of the shopping center makes 80 per cent.

The Turkish Sunrise Capital Company, which is building the residential complex in Naberezhnye Chelny, is the Sunrise City Complex developer. The first construction stage, with almost 5 billion roubles of investments, was completed last year. Now the company is working on the second stage, which consists of a recreation and leisure centre, multi-storey houses with built-in non-residential premises, an underground parking and shopping pavilions. It is planned to finish the stage by the end of 2018.
