More than 1 bln. roubles allocated for roads repair in Tatarstan

In the first half-year 1,152 bln. roubles were allocated for roads repair in Tatarstan. Such data have been presented today at a briefing in RT Cabinet “On results of spring works on maintenance of motor roads in RT’.
According to Deputy minister of transport Eduard Danilov the winter was snowy that is why road workers put much emphasis on conducting anti-flood actions. In the first half-year Tatarstan roads underwent patch works at the area of 505 thousand m² (two times less than in 2010).
Moreover, wheel tracking was eliminated at 42 km of roads, rehabilitation of cracks was realized for 1,029 mln. running metres. Illumination was equipped at 22,4 km of roads, road blocks - at 18,5 km. Road markings were drawn at full length of federal highways and at 5065 km of regional highways. By and large expenses for roads repair in Tatarstan have made 1,152 bln. roubles in the first half-year.
Eduard Danilov informed that new machinery helped to increase efficiency of road workers. JSC “Tatavtodor” started using modern repair machinery based on MAN automobiles. Currently workers may use 15 of such units which help to implement patch works more quickly and efficiently. In order to keep the roads in due form the traffic of heavyweights at the temperature higher than 32 degrees is restricted in Tatarstan in summer period.
By words of road workers at such temperature bitumen starts melting and is affected by heavyweights more. Thus, traffic of trucks will be permitted from 21:00 to 9:00. The restrictions will be valid till August,15.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
On 16 May, speaking at a meeting in the Government House of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin with participation of the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the republic Marat Zyabbarov reported that the sowing of spring crops is in full swing in the republic with 1m 38 thousand hectares or 61 per cent of the planned have been sown.
On May 14, on the sidelines of the XVII International Economic Forum “Russia-the Islamic World: KazanForum”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Head of the Federal Service for Accreditation Dmitry Volvach signed an agreement on interaction and cooperation in the development of the halal industry.
