Necessary help to be rendered for the injured and families of the lost upon wrecking of “Bulgaria” ship

“Head of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev charged RT President Rustam Minnikhanov with rendering necessary help to the injured and families of the lost upon wrecking of the ship “Bulgaria”, - RT Premier Ildar Khalikov informed.
Head of Tatarstan Government said that currently rescue operations were carried out at the scene of the accident. Search is being conducted on the bank and in the basin of Kuibyshev water storage with the help of vessels of Ministry of emergency situations, Ministry of interiors and other involved ones. “We hope to rescue some more people”, - Ildar Khalikov said.
By words of RT Premier, divers of Ministry of emergency situations and Ministry of interiors came to the place of tragedy in order to reach the sunk vessel. “Operations will continue as long as it is safe for people working there”, - I. Khalikov stressed. He also added that rescued people are expected to come to Kazan. Work of psychologists is organized in Kazan and Kamskoe Ustie.
Ildar Khalikov informed that a telephone conversation was held between RF President Dmitry Medvedev and RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. “President of Russia gave assignment to render necessary help to families of the lost and medical aid. The task was given to attract resources of Ministry of emergency situations and other federal agencies if necessary”, - RT Premier stated.
“RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has been coordinating the work of Tatarstan Government and federal agencies located in republic from the very beginning”, - I. Khalikov said.
I. Khalikov informed that for now 1 person is officially considered lost. “142 passengers and 33 crewmen were at the vessel “Bulgaria” - 175 people by and large. 81 people are officially rescued. Others are considered to be missing.
The accident happened on July, 10 in Kuibyshev water storage on the territory of Kamsko-Ustinsky region of Tatarstan Republic. A pleasure vessel sunk at about 14 o’clock by Moscow time near Syukeevo settlement three km from the bank. The emergency operations centre was organized at Executive office of RF Ministry of emergency situations on RT. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov broke off his vocation and is returning to republic in order to lead the work of emergency operations centre personally.
On 13 April in his congratulatory address on the occasion of the Maecenas and Benefactor Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated residents of the republic with the event and wrote: "Tatarstan has always been known for its generous and kind-hearted people who are ready to help the needy and support important social, cultural and educational projects. On 12 April in his address to residents of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated them with the Space Exploration Day and said: “April 12, 1961 has forever been inscribed into the world history as the day of triumph of the Soviet science and engineering thought. The flight of Yuriy Gagarin opened the way to the stars for the humankind and demonstrated to the whole world the might of our country.
On 4 April , speaking at a closing ceremony of the XX Russian Venture Forum held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the Russian Venture Forum has confirmed its status of the point of attraction of technological development leaders.
The Forum created a unified scientific, technological and investment space where scientific ideas are transformed into competitive products, and startups gain access to capital and markets. Its business programme is organically integrated into the regional and federal agenda for achieving technological sovereignty and leadership of Russia, he said.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
