Rustam Minnikhanov and Anatoly Chubais sign agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Rosnano

On June 26, issues of cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Rosnano were discussed at a meeting with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Board Chairman of Rosnano Anatoly Chubais in Kazan.

“Rosnano is a long-standing partner of Tatarstan. A number of important and ambitious projects have been implemented during this period. The center of nanotechnologies opened in 2012, "Alabuga-fiber" enterprise and Danaflex-nano opened later on. I am sure that the enterprise producing nano-coating “TAT-Advenira” that opened today will become another successful project.

Moreover, a programme on developing nanotechnologies for 2013-2016 was implemented in the republic. Tatarstan is a leading region in manufacturing nano-products. We are interested in increasing the volume of nanomanufacturing, we are open for cooperation and opening of new enterprises. Our experience can be used for mutually beneficial partnership with companies implementing new technologies,” Rustam Minnikhanov said. He noted that the signed agreement would favour effective dialogue as well.  

Anatoly Chubais said that Tatarstan is the main region developing nanoindustry. “We find absolute understanding and support of our projects. A number of successful industrial projects were successfully launched here in Kazan.

Chubais also focused on some topical problems and projects. In particular, he presented the project on the development of wind energy.

The agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Rosnano was signed at the end of the meeting.
