Welcome address of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov to participants and guests of Sabantuy holiday 2017

Dear Tatarstan citizens!

On my own behalf and on behalf of State Council, Government of the republic, from the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy!

Today, representatives of different ages, ethnicities and religions have gathered again at a broad colorful square to pay tribute to the work of farmers, to demonstrate their sporting and creative talents.

Sabantuy is one of the most favourite holidays of Tatarstan citizens and our compatriots living outside the republic. It brings us back to the origins, recalling the timeless values of love for our native land, family home, respect for customs.

Thanks to the dedicated work of Tatarstan farmers, we successfully completed the sowing campaign, laying the foundations for the future harvest and food prosperity of Tatarstan.

I express my gratitude to our respected grain growers and farm workers.

Let this Sabantuy give everyone unforgettable impressions, make you enjoy a festive atmosphere of hospitality and friendly communication, give you an opportunity to touch the unique national traditions.

Dear Tatarstan citizens, I wish you strong health, happiness, peace, well-being and prosperity!

Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin takes part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize award ceremony

On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.

Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers discusses measures on stepping up traffic safety, decrease of car accidents and reducing the severity of their consequences in the republic

On 27 November the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with al municipalities taking part in it via videoconference which discussed measures on stepping up traffic safety, decrease of car accidents and reducing the severity of their consequences in the republic.
