Ak Bars Development presents project of restoration of historical quarter in Kazan

On July 4, the project of restoration of historical quarter in Kazan within Rakhmatullin, Kavi Nadzhmi, Profsoyuznaya and Musa Dzhalil streets was presented to Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House. Aide to Tatarstan President Olesya Baltusova, chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, and other officials took part in the event.

Ak Bars Development was required to prepare a project of restoration of this part of Kazan. Chief architect of OOO “Studio Complekt” Marsel Iskanderov presented the architectural concept of the reconstruction. It is planned to restore subsidiary buildings and yards of architectural monuments in the mentioned area. Also, two residential buildings and offices will be built.

The presented project was approved. Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that it is important to keep the whole image of the area and reconstruct historical monuments.
